Itamar News Updates October 12 2012
- After the fabulous holiday season we want to bless all our dear friends with a great year with all the beautiful blessings of life.
- Itamar welcomed the visit of Lester and Jeannette Goldsmith from Brooklyn New York. They have been the backbone of the friends of Itamar for many years. Lester is the president of Friends of Itamar and together with his wife Jeanette they run the American office with total devotion. Without their help we would not be able to carry on here in Israel! May Hashem bless them with good health, happiness, and success in all their endeavors.
- We have a lot of happy announcements to make again. This is a sign of how much the community of Itamar is growing.
- Mazal tov to The Asheri family on the upcoming wedding of their daughter Tziporah this Monday.

- This Shabbat, Shabbat Bereishit, we are having a special gibbush in In which there is a community hospitality initiation where families are paired to have joint meals as well as one large seudah of all the families at the building site of our new synagogue, which is progressing nicely but we still have a way to go. We pray to Hashem that this year we will raise the funds to finish this important project.
- On Motzay Shabbat a special prayer will be held for the wellbeing and protection of the community of Itamar.
- As our readers must know, we are in the middle of October, a month busy in picking olives, grapes and much produce for the early Autumn crops. The fields have cooled down and it is pleasure to enjoy the first clouds of the season too! We pray for abundant rain!
- Watch Rabbi Goldsmith’s new lesson on Parashat Bereishit.
