Itamar News – January 21,2011
1. Mazal Tov to the Schneerson and Ben Pazi families on the Brit Milah of their sons this week.
2. A new Torah scroll was dedicated this week in the Itamar Hesder Yishivah.
3. Colonel Nimrod Aloni again visited Itamar. This time he was the guest speaker at the Itamar Yeshivah high school Chitzim Tu Bishvat party. The colonel spoke about some army experiences in 2002 during the terrible years of terror that hit Israel and enjoyed the beautiful ceremony and the songs at the school.
4. Itamar welcomed its dear friend Tani Zarelli and her group from Washington State and Texas that came to visit Itamar and plant trees. Most of the group have been on Itamar already and are very close friends of our community. They did a great job in planting trees in the new Avi Blumenfeld playground to honor the holiday of Tu’ Bi’shvat.
