Memorial Day was very difficult as always remembering our dear residents that gave their lives for the land of Israel. Unfortunately, the list grew this year as Shachar Shalev HYD of blessed memory a former student in Itamar’s high school( Chitzim) fell in battle in Gaza this past summer.IMG_3844

We want to thank Hashem for the miracle that took place this week in the village right below us called Hawarah – a resident of the Shomron was driving through the village and was firebombed. Although, his car was completely burnt to the ground he was able to get out in time. Thank G-D, there were no children in the back of the car – there wouldn’t have been enough time to rescue them.
