invite you to celebrate with our community a unique Succoth happening, the inauguration of Yishuv Itamar’s first permanent synagogue! Come and enjoy an entire day of fun and activities for you and your family and partake in this very special occasion.
The event will take place on the 18th of Tishray/Sunday October 12 -Chol Hamoed Succot
11:00 – 5:00 pm there will be a display of different types of Succoth based on the Mishnah of Succoth. A Tour around Itamar will explain in depth the biblical significance of the “Land of Yosef HaTzaddik”, the ideology of organic farming, a new winery in the making, a goat yogurt farm, as well as the hilltop neighborhoods. There will be Special activities for children. A big Sukkah will be available for those who want to eat lunch with the option of purchasing food as well.
6:00 pm – A procession leaving from the old Beit Haknessest to the new one celebrating the inauguration of a new Sefer Torah in memory of the martyrs of Itamar.
7:00 pm – the inauguration ceremony of the new synagogue
Music – the event will host the Lehavha band, Mendy Jerufi, and Daniel Ahaviel.
Honored Guests – Rabbi Shlomo Amar, Rabbi Meir Lau, Housing Minister – Uri Ariel, Knesset members, Ira Rennert, and other honored guests will be attending.
